Sleeping Mouse

Good morning everyone, well first of i must say sorry for being such a bad blogger.Sometimes real life slows you down from doing the things you love, and on top of that i had a really bad crafters block, which i hope i am slowly getting over. Anyway less of the boring stuff and more of the crafty stuff :)

I decided to buy myself a new stamp for christmas this year and wanted something cute for a change, so i bought a few from a lovely site called Elzybells Art Stamps i have to admit i found it really hard to decide which one to buy, as they were all lovely. I just have to add that the service was A1, the delivery was very fast. So i would highly recommend this site if you love cute stamps.

The stamp i have used is Sleeping Mouse along with the text stamp night before christmas.

I have water painted this stamp and added some white iris glitter for some christmas bling.

I still think it is missing something, maybe some ribbon around the card spine, let me know what you think.

Thats it for now, i look forward to reading your comments Love Donna :)

Funky Fairys Challenge wk14-Tall and slim

Hello everyone, thank you for stopping by. Today i have done a new challenge which is from the Funky Fairys Their challenge is to make something tall and slim..(wish that was me lol). So i thought this would be a good start for me to make my first bookmark.

For this i have used some paper from dovecraft Kate Knight-Amethyst floral prints. I then rubbed some distress ink-Dusty Concord over a slidemount. Under i have stamped a lovely flower from Crafty Individuals, to stamp this i have used a versafine ink-Imperial purple. To finish off i added a few dragonflies from personal impressions using versafine-Majestic Blue.

I hope you like it, and thank you again for visiting my blog. xx Donna

Sunday Stampers Challenge Week 10....Going for green

Hello everyone, hope you have all had a lovely weekend. Been hectic for me as i had a hard training session at karate. So it was nice this morning to get a few hours of crafting in.

The challenge this week for the Sunday Stampers is going for green. Which has been chosen by Lesley as it was her birthday. (Hope you had a lovely time Lesley.)

Ok here goes, for this challenge i have yet again made a Atc. For the base colour i have used Distress ink-peeled paint then sprinkled with water. I have then stamped the background with one of favourite stamps at the moment from Paper Artsy Squiggly Minis. I stamped this with Versafine-Spanish moss. I then inked up a piece of chipboard with Distress ink - peeled paint and stamped a small flower from Crafty Individuals, i used a versafine ink pad- Olympia Green, then i went over the top with the squiggly mini using Spanish moss. As i did not have any ribbon to match the shades i inked up a white ribbon with Olympia green. To finish off i stamped a flower from the Dawn Bibby range. using a contrast of the same colour inks.

I hope you like it, and thank you for visiting my blog...why not have a go yourself. Donna xx

Black and White movie Star

Been having a little extra play, well i had to really as i have another new stamp:))

For this Atc i have used some B&W Deco paper(sorry, i can't remember who makes this paper) I then stamped my new stamp with black stazon onto white card, this stamp is lovely and it came from PaperArtsy Minis selection. (I really must buy some more). I then just mounted it onto some black card, the movie star part i have inked twice and placed across the picture and edged in black. Thank you for visiting my blog, i hope you like it Donna xx

My Time To Craft Challenge week 6

Hello everyone, well first of all HAPPY EASTER to you all, hope you have a lovely one. I have managed to do the My Time To Craft Challenge which this week is quotes and sayings, well i don't really have many stamps or anything really with quotes on, so i hope i am allowed to use a proverb :)) For this challenge i have used some butterfly background paper from a kit, i cut out 2 of the butterflies from the left over paper, then edged them in Tangerine from the petal point fluid chalks inks. The proverb i used came from K&Co proverbs to go. I then inked that up blending Tangerine and Yellow Citrus petal points again and then edged in Red Lipstick petal point. I hope you like it, thank you for visiting my blog. Donna xx

Sunday Stampers Challenge Week 8...I'm a Lady

Hi everyone, hope you have all had a lovely weekend. Well i must say these challenges are starting to get a little addictive. Ok, here is my attempt at this weeks challenge, although i am not too happy with what i have done, keep thinking something is missing...

For this one i have used some decorative paper and slighty tinted it with fired brick distress ink. For the stamp background i have blended distress inks fired brick and dusty concord, then just let drops of water drip all over. I have then stamped in black a lovely stamp from http://www.hamptonart.com/ Jill Meyer range. I then used a waterbrush to just add a little colour to the lady. After that i mounted it on gold mirri card just to give a little depth to it. I have added a few gems and a ribbon. The ribbon did not work out as i wanted it to, it was taken from a tutorial on http://indigostudio-4hounds.blogspot.com/. I need a little more practise.
Well time to go and do a few more challenges, hope you like this and thank you for visiting my blog xx Donna

My First Moo

Hello everyone, hope you have all been having fun crafting this week. Well today i made my first Moo. Which i must say, i found really hard to decorate something so small. For my Moo i have gone for the very pink theme, which is the theme this week on My time to Craft Challenge. First of all i stamped the paper with one of my lovely new stamps from Paper Artsy, the new range of stamps called Squiggly Ink. They are fantastic. The ink i used was impress-cherry pink. Then i went over the stamping with a water brush. I then used some paper from Dovecraft-kate knight design, and riped it down one side. To finish of i used a small glitter sticker from paper cella, and punched out 2 butterflies, and inked round the edges using brilliance ink pad-twilight.

I hope you like it...thank you for visiting my blog xx Donna

Sunday Stamper Challenge Turning Japanese.

Hello everyone, welcome back to my blog. Today i have taken part in the sunday stamper challenge. Wow another challenge complete, this is getting good for me.

For this weeks challenge i have made another atc, i have used for the background paper from the inspirations set(earth tones)from PaperMania. I have then slighty inked it using distress inks fired brick and walnut stain..yes i do like my distress inks, really must get some more colours:)).

For the stamping i have used a stamp from Personal Impressions inked with a black ink.( i was naughty and bought the stamp today, as i did not have any stamps for the challenge, hehe it's a good reason to buy something new. For the writing i used two peel off's and inked over them, then removed the peel off's. To finish it off i just added a little ribbon and brads. Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog, i hope you liked it. Donna xx

Sunday Stampers Challenge-Man Oh Man

Well here is another shock, i have done another challenge. The Sunday Stampers Challenge Man Oh Man..which i have to say i really enjoyed doing. For this Atc i used, a stamp from The Artistic Stamper called Collage Man. I inked the base with Distress inks using the colours Walnut Stain and Peeled Paint.

Next i sprinkled drops of water over, (i love the affect it gives). I then restamped onto white paper using a stazon black ink pad and cut out the man, i covered the man in Anita's 3D clear Gloss, and stuck over the original stamped image. To finish it off i stuck on a few clear apoxy stickers.

Hope you like it, its was fun to do, thank you for looking Donna x

My Time To Craft Challenge

Hello everyone!

Well this has got to be a first for me. I have actually managed to do one of the craftswap challenges.

I have made an Atc, for this i used some lovely flower paper by Kate Knight. The stamp i used i am afraid i do not know who it is by(if anyone knows could they please let me know).

I then water painted it and gave it a slight dusting of chalks to take the glare of the white away.

After that i covered it with a piece of acetate on and angle then added some brads to keep in place.
Hope you like this and thank you for looking:)
