Black and White movie Star

Been having a little extra play, well i had to really as i have another new stamp:))

For this Atc i have used some B&W Deco paper(sorry, i can't remember who makes this paper) I then stamped my new stamp with black stazon onto white card, this stamp is lovely and it came from PaperArtsy Minis selection. (I really must buy some more). I then just mounted it onto some black card, the movie star part i have inked twice and placed across the picture and edged in black. Thank you for visiting my blog, i hope you like it Donna xx

My Time To Craft Challenge week 6

Hello everyone, well first of all HAPPY EASTER to you all, hope you have a lovely one. I have managed to do the My Time To Craft Challenge which this week is quotes and sayings, well i don't really have many stamps or anything really with quotes on, so i hope i am allowed to use a proverb :)) For this challenge i have used some butterfly background paper from a kit, i cut out 2 of the butterflies from the left over paper, then edged them in Tangerine from the petal point fluid chalks inks. The proverb i used came from K&Co proverbs to go. I then inked that up blending Tangerine and Yellow Citrus petal points again and then edged in Red Lipstick petal point. I hope you like it, thank you for visiting my blog. Donna xx

Sunday Stampers Challenge Week 8...I'm a Lady

Hi everyone, hope you have all had a lovely weekend. Well i must say these challenges are starting to get a little addictive. Ok, here is my attempt at this weeks challenge, although i am not too happy with what i have done, keep thinking something is missing...

For this one i have used some decorative paper and slighty tinted it with fired brick distress ink. For the stamp background i have blended distress inks fired brick and dusty concord, then just let drops of water drip all over. I have then stamped in black a lovely stamp from http://www.hamptonart.com/ Jill Meyer range. I then used a waterbrush to just add a little colour to the lady. After that i mounted it on gold mirri card just to give a little depth to it. I have added a few gems and a ribbon. The ribbon did not work out as i wanted it to, it was taken from a tutorial on http://indigostudio-4hounds.blogspot.com/. I need a little more practise.
Well time to go and do a few more challenges, hope you like this and thank you for visiting my blog xx Donna
